Almost True nominated at Banff Media's Rockie Awards

We are pleased to inform that Almost True has been selected as an official 2020 Rockie Awards nominee in the category of: Scripted: Comedy Series (non-english language).

Almost True is a comedy series about three actresses, their friendship and the everyday life in a theatre. The series is filled with visual fireworks as the theatre milieu combines uniquely with cinematic scenes.

With a 40 year legacy, the prestigious Rockie Awards recognise excellence in global television and digital content. Entries from more than 45 countries compete in all genres: drama, non-fiction, digital, kids and youth.

Almost True is one of the three Finnish tv series to be nominated. Due to current global circumstances the festival itself had to be cancelled, but the awards ceremony will be held and streamed online.

The winners will be announced at the virtual Rockie Awards International Program Competition on June 15, 2020
