When it’s time to take distance from each other but to increase social cohesion, We’re All Here - Live brings joy and music to the masses!
Have you always wanted to be in the front row at your favourite performer’s concert? Now you can – and straight from your own living room! Aito Media’s new entertainment show We’re All Here - Live features the nation’s top artists performing live two nights a week on YLE and YLE's Areena's platform. Shows reached 1,3 million viewers over the weekend! (Finland's population 5,5 million.) Three stage live entertainment show was put together in 5 days.
In this interactive TV show viewers can participate by sending photos of how they are spending evenings together with their close ones. The photos are shown on a huge video screen behind the performing artists. Some viewers can also participate in the broadcast via a group video call with the host, and we hear how the current situation is in their neighbourhood.
“We have been developing an interactive TV show for a while which helped us to put this production together as fast as we did. Given the current situation, we were thrilled that Yle trusted us with delivering them a show which brings people together," says Ilkka Hynninen, CEO and Executive Producer of Aito Media.
In the show viewers are also invited to visit the homes of the nation's biggest celebrities. The celebrities reveal us the top 3 things that they like to do while at home. Some of them even challenge viewers to beat their records in funny tasks.
One record itself was the speed of the production. “I think we made, if not the world record, but at least the national record in putting everything together. One week from the decision to actually airing the show,” says Ville Vilén, Creative Director of Yle.
We’re All Here - Live is a reminder that even when we are miles apart, we still have each other.
Aito Media created and produced the show in cooperation with Aku’s Factory, a
Finnish audiovisual production company.
We’re All Here - Live (Yle Olohuone: Kaikki kotona LIVE) aired live on Yle's TV2 and FVOD service Areena on Friday, March 20th, and Saturday, March 21st.
The show was a big hit on social media where people shared the hashtags of the show and photos of themselves at home. The hashtags #kaikkikotonalive and #yleolohuone trended strongly both on Twitter and on Instagram.
