Aito Media brings revamped Finland’s Next Top Model to TV screens – Maryam Razavi as new host!

Hugely popular Finland’s Next Top Model returns to Liv-channel next spring. The program is completely reborn with both girls and boys competing for the title of top model this season. Aito Media produces the sixth season of the revamped program.

Finland’s Next Top Model gets a new host this season as Maryam Razavi, model, stylist and style consultant with an impressive, international career, is introduced. Maryam has built a successful modelling career overseas including Cape Town, London, Barcelona, Milan, Hamburg and Los Angeles. Maryam continues to be one of the most sought-after female models in Finland.

This is a dream job for me! I had to pinch myself when I heard I get to do this. I think I even wept some tears of joy. This is a huge honor and I am ridiculously proud of this job”, Maryam rejoices.

Maryam wants to support the models along their journeys in the program along with sharing her valuable knowledge of modelling work with them. Maryam is especially excited about the high level of the competition this year.

The standard of the competition is super high. Castings have been really difficult, because many of the applicants have big potential in this field. However, I’m sure we have now gathered the best group bar none for the program”.

In addition to presenting duties, Maryam will also be seen as a judge on the Next Top Model. Maryam will be joined at the judges’ table by distinguished fashion photographer and ex-model Marica Rosengård and beauty industry agent and Finland’s perhaps best-known male model of all time, Juri Silvennoinen. Each episode will also have a guest judge.

The seek for Finland’s next top model began last summer. Applications were aplenty and the bar for the competition was set high. People have obviously been waiting for this program! This season will also shift gears by welcoming applications from men as well. Male and female models competing for the same title is likely to electrify the fierce race for the next top model, even further.

This season will also introduce a totally new location for the program and move in the direction of Central Europe’s fashion scene, as shooting will for the most part be set in Tallinn. The aspiring models will live in the center of Tallinn and so will already be taking steps towards the international fashion world from day one.

The program will be made in close cooperation with Paparazzi model agency. The winner of the competition will be signed by Paparazzi and be featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine.
